A .67 BELGIAN FLINTLOCK SEA SERVICE PISTOL, CIRCA 1820, no visible serial number, with 9in. Liege proofed barrel, the lock of rounded form plain and unmarked except for a small crowned makers mark, fitted with a swan-neck cock, brass mounted full walnut stock with flat oval butt-cap and fixed lanyard ring, this model of pistol is made without provision for a ramrod giving the pistol a quite distinctive look, the barrel to a steel grey patina some minor frosting, the stock quite sharp, a better than average example
